Introduction
It is our believe that families should have easy access to funeral home options and pricing. A complete list of services and merchandise, including their costs, are available from this section of our website. A printed version of our price list is available without cost or obligation by contacting our office. A convenient on-line Price Calculator is also available. We are the first and only funeral home in the area to offer up-front pricing on-line.

This section will explain the elements of funeral related costs and allow you to create an estimated price according to the service options and merchandise that you feel are appropriate.

Although the explanation is quite thorough, we would be glad to review your selection either by telephone or in person so that we can establish a proper understanding of what is required and ensure that an accurate cost has been provided.

This section is intended only as a basic guideline and does not constitute a binding contract or quote.

Funeral Home Contracts
Funeral home contracts will vary from location to location; however, the basic concept will be similar.

Our funeral home contract divides into 3 categories; Funeral Home Service Fee, Merchandise and Cash Disbursements.

A) Funeral Home Service Fee
The funeral home service fee is based on the level of services we provide and the use of our facilities and equipment. GST (5%) applies to all funeral home service fees.

B) Merchandise
Merchandise is any item purchased from the funeral home that is not a service and that ownership becomes the family's. GST (5%) applies to all merchandise.
Caskets/Cremation Containers
For a list of caskets and cremation containers, click here
Anytime that a body is to be present for a visitation and/or service, a casket is used. If a family chooses to have a service where the body is not present or if the family has selected an immediate cremation with no visitation or service, a cremation container can be used in place of a casket.

C) Cash Disbursements
Cash disbursements is a section that would allow certain fees to be paid by the funeral home on behalf of the family. These fees are not charged by the funeral home and are carried, at our discretion, and are charged only at cost. Disbursements will include taxes, where applicable. This section will vary according to many variables and is therefore the most difficult section for a family to calculate accurately. For example, the cost to open and close a grave at a rural cemetery may only be $300.00 where larger cities may charge $1,000.00. Newspaper notices will vary according to the publishers rates and most often based on the size of the death notice. For a general guideline of disbursements, click here.
